The SA Chamber of Fruit and Vegetables (established 1943) is an industry body created to support, promote and protect the interests of wholesale suppliers of fruit, vegetables and flowers within South Australia.

The objectives of the Chamber are:

  1. To support, promote and protect the interests of persons carrying on the business as wholesalers of fruit, vegetables, flowers or any other horticultural products within the State of South Australia (such persons are hereinafter called "wholesalers").

  2. To act as an advisory body and representative of wholesalers in all matters which may affect wholesalers.

  3. To procure information locally, interstate and overseas regarding matters relevant to the business of wholesalers and to make such information available to its members.

  4. To assist its members in negotiating or arranging the transport, handling, storage, marketing, sale, purchase and distribution of fruit, vegetables, flowers or any other horticultural products whether for local consumption, for consumption interstate or export.

  5. To assist the industry in credit collection.
